Council are soon to do works at Barrallier Park (in front of The Oaks Hotel) and have given us the opportunity for feedback.

This is our opportunity to show we care about our future by providing positive comment ASAP, which we can directly pass on to Council.

Here's the Information given by Luke Johnson’s (Council Assistant General Manager):


"As discussed, these are the plans for the terraced wall and associated works for Barrallier Park.

There may be some minor changes from what is on the plan depending on construction issues and also there will be an additional footpath on the western side of the carpark to improve access (including to the library bus site).

Further to our discussion this morning I have checked the time-frame for the works.

Under the funding arrangements, we must complete these works this year.

We are currently awaiting some further information from Rotary and expect to start the work shortly".
